I started to correspond with Neil about 2001. At time he lived in Sidney and a pioneers of the new art form Digiscoping. I was a consultant for Swarovski Optik in Austria being paid to help developed their market in Sport Optics and Digiscoping. Over the years Neil and I have become best of friends and have several opportunities to shoot in the field per year. He is a great mentor and is a shinning light for all that have a serious interest in Nature Photography. As far as his ability to take pictures, in my opinion Neil is one of the very best in the world. Those that have the opportunity to shoot with Neil are very blessed. Roy Halpin
