After a six-month deployment to Bosnia and two different extended-beyond-one-year deployments, my service with the US Army has killed off any infatuation I might have had with the real world. I unhappily spent fifteen years of my life trying to be all I can be; now I am indulging myself in trying to be the happiest I can be.
