My icon/avatar: on astronautical vacation..

I am a fancy primate with a fluctuating inner-life comprised mostly of active memories, expectations and imagination. I'm more concerned with the future than with the present, I'm fascinated by the knowledge and wonders of modern science, and I greatly enjoy odd music and the sounds of worldbeat, jazz and electronica.

I'm a skeptic and I don't believe in magic. But I think fantasy and the faculty of imagination play the most important role in humanity's further evolution. They are scope-openers. And you don't need to believe in them to benefit.

I think all arts are important, litterature, visual arts, music, games, film... They shape our moods and enrich our expectations, and they mark our memories..
