Hi, I am Lorna Soar, artist and feltmaker.

Although Scottish born, I currently live and work in East Yorkshire. I share a studio with my artist husband, Rob Soar where we enjoy our creative activities which include painting and illustration as well as felt-making

I taught myself wet felting and needle felt several years ago and I'm still addicted. Tall islands with the sea lapping the rocks below, moon-lit skies over tree strewn hills, little white cottages with coloured roofs have become my 'trademarks' and feature strongly in both my quirky fantasy landscapes both in wool and in my more traditional medium of paint.

My work has been exhibited in many regions of the UK and purchased worldwide into private collections.
