Martin "Marty" McGartland (born 30 January 1970 in Belfast is an ex-British Agent who infiltrated the Provisional Irish Republican Army.

Martin saved the lives of more than 50 people and he stopped over 45 terrorist bombing and shootings during his time working undercover. MI5 and Northumbria Police set Martin McGartlasnd up to be murdered after they took a flawed case against him, they exposed him (his name and address) in open court and this led to him being shot no less than 6 times by PIRA
