It is astounding to me that Paula doesn't have testimonials, although I have to admit her photos speak millions of words. The atmosphere she creates recreates the scenes we thought we once saw... the continuous and arduous work evolves and reshapes black and white in a subtle and intimate way. The viewer is spoken to softly, invited in, and sometimes, plainly exposed to scenes of everyday life, reviewed, reimagined.
