My life has been flooded with images evoking messages from their luminous silence. I was always interested in understanding such words coming out of photograph prints, as if the images spoke for themselves to the viewer.

When I was younger I would become so awestruck from seeing pictures on National Geographic issues that I felt as if I was really in front of all those places, animals and people.

I never owned a good camera until I was a teenager, when I started looking at photography as art. I see people everywhere with fancy cameras, some much better than mine, but when some of my friends and acquaintances look at my pictures they get very surprised. Some even ask me if I am thinking of studying photography as a serious career.

I don't take photographs just like any person or tourist would do. Sometimes I simply come upon interesting or strange images during my life and take a picture of them. Just chance. Life has a message in what I see, and that is what I try to convey with the pictures I have taken.
