I am a retired computer engineer and architect. After an academic and working life of math, physics and code, I have tried to block that stuff completely and focus on photography, classical music and literature.

I shoot Kodak, Fuji and Ilford films and some Cinestill exclusively. My subjects have to be all different stuff, or I get bored. Not too much of anything, a little bit of everything.

After spending thousands of dollars on digital gear, I have finally given up and now spend all of my efforts on film. For a while now I have focused on B&W but that could change.

I have used Leica, Nikon and Pentax cameras and lenses interchangeably for decades and they are all equivalent despite what some have claimed.

With very few exceptions I use prime lenses branded the same as the associated camera body.
