The Prince George International Airport has the 4th longest commercial runway in Canada and the 2nd longest in BC. The runway extension took place in 2009 and it is now at 11,450 feet. The largest commercial aircraft currently made can land on it successfully.

In 2017, over 499,125 passengers used YXS. We have 20 flights a business day between PG and Vancouver serviced by Air Canada, Central Mountain Air and WestJet. Central Mountain Air and Northern Thunderbird Air also have scheduled and charter services to most points in Northern and Central BC. Pacific Coastal Airlines offers non stop flights to Victoria six days a week. During the winter months WestJet offers weekly flights to Mexico.
