Hi, I'm just an amateur who really enjoys taking photos - I know I've got a lot to learn & hope that by putting my pictures up on Flickr I'll maybe get some guidance! My last camera has now sadly died so I'm on the look out for another. Maybe one with a few more knobs on.. (In the meantime I've nicked my daughter's one)

UPDATE: Canon Powershot G9- we WANTS it!!

FURTHER UPDATE: We GOTS it now but we don'ts know how to USE it!!

ANOTHER UPDATE: I got so fed up having to lug the G9 around- get it out-fiddle with it-put up with the boyfriend sighing/walking off cause it took so long etc that I Now Has a Canon Ixus 100 that's lover-ly n small. Got fed up trying to understand the G9's intricacies -think I'll always be a lazy point n shooter-'specially with an impatient other half!
