One gets the impression that somewhere beneath, or even interwoven into, the warm, generous, gentle-natured, talented, healthily-open and roundedly-intelligent persona of young (26-years young, apparently...) ‘Lexeh lies the heart and soul of a twisted, cynical pervert. God, let’s hope so. She’s one of those rare rare folk that almost randomly drops out of the flickrverse and instantly becomes someone you feel you’ve known all of your life. Shares a strand or two of your own world-view DNA, if you get me drift. Not only that, but Ms. Owens has a photographic and artistic slight of hand, a knack for capturing the essence of her subjects in a fresh and intriguing way, and a genuine, devious sense of humour guaranteed to jiggle your jowls and tickle your sternocleidomastoid. And she has quite the pleasing sternocleidomastoid herself.

Not to copy her, or to best her (like I could ever aspire to do such a thing!)....just to go out and shoot stuff. I can only hope someone says that about me one day :) Her pictures inspired me to get in touch with her, through comments and favourites and later through mails. She's proved to be a witty, intelligent woman and I love the way her comments on my stream always make me laugh.
