from Glasgow, Scotland. Been taking digital photos for a couple of years now after years of slide photos on my old SLR. Love the freedom that digital photography allows.

Main interests are landscapes and wildlife and also taking pictures of our dogs, but really just taking shots of anything interesting. Not a huge fan of HDR (I never use or try it) - while there are some fantastic examples on Flickr there are some that just look too unnatural to me.

I tend not to post in the post1/award some groups and I don't really care about collecting group awards, though I do post if invited.

I thoroughly enjoy looking at others' pictures on Flickr and always find it an inspiration to discover how to take better photographs.

If someone posts a comment on my stream I always reciprocate with one or more comments on theirs.
