Based in Gladstone, Queensland, Australia, I am a keen amateur photographer, my interest starting with attempting to capture my children's sporting memories. Not being able to rely on auto settings to capture the action, I was forced into learning how to really utilise an SLR's potential. This quickly led to a passion for landscape, and to a lesser extent sports photography, and love recording images whenever my wife and I travel, either camping in Australia, or on occasion traveling overseas. I get particular pleasure from attempting to present an alternative view of a subject, and also love the post processing software aspect of photography, and the creation of artistic representations.
