First posted pictures to show my three grown sons what their great grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc. looked like when they were younger. Also wanted to post some pictures of the boys when they were little. Since we don't live close by I also wanted to post some pictures of their little brother and sister so they can keep up on their progress. However, the older photos became not only a source of interest for the boys but also for other members of the family...it gave my nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. the opportunity to see family pictures they've never seen before. Family history can be a wonderful thing to share.

Would love to make contact with veterans who may have served with my dad (Hollis Abbott) or my uncles (Homer Abbott, Herschel Abbott, or Howard Abbott), all from central Illinois who served in WWII.
