Photography is my full time profession and has been for the last 30 yrs. I am self taught and cannot imagine doing anything else. In 1985 I realized I wanted to be a photographer and I did not have money for schooling so I started in a one hour photo lab in a mall and read books and experimented. Born and raised in beautiful East TN., I have moved back after 20+ yrs. in Orl. Fla. I miss my Fla. friends a lot and try to visit often....I am blessed to live on an old farm and love using it in my images. I also have photo workshops here.

My workflow uses Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop CS6 + CC. If you like a photo of mine and want to know how I did it just ask me..happy to share! Some of the photos here are just snapshots and others are a small sampling of my work...more can be seen on my website and links below. If you would like to set up a session just email me, my rates are very reasonable. I will be glad to work with models TFCD as time permits. Thanks so much for stopping by and a special thanks to all that leave comments and critiques. They are greatly appreciated! I strive to learn more and improve everyday.

I try and post new images on Instagram every week. Follow me there for the latest!

In the years I have been on Flickr I have yet to write a testimonial for anyone. That is about to change. I have never met Hal personally, although I want to do that someday so much but I have met him online through our contact with each other. Also from watching him put up some of the most beautiful works of art on his Flickr page. Although we have never met personally, Hal has been of immense help to me when he did not really need to have been and I would have understood if you had told me to get lost but he didn't and for that I am grateful. Just from watching his work get posted on a regular basis on Flickr I know that Hal is one of the best photographers there is on Flickr but what I know personally is the fact that I know that Hal has absolutely the biggest and best heart of Flickr. Thanks Hal you can never know just how grateful I am for your advice and guidance.

Hal is a great photographer. He takes the most beautiful photographs. He is so helpful to anyone he meets and has a desire to learn more about photograpy. He is always pleasant and upbeat. He is very modest about his abilities and is never one to brag about people or things he has photographed in the past (such as 2 of the United States Presidents). I feel fortunate to have him as a friend and a teacher and enjoy each and every time I get to shoot with him. Audrey Anderson Snaphappy 4
