My Nikon D3100 is a much treasured Christmas present from my husband. I haven't used a SLR since childhood, when I owned a Zenit E, and am very much enjoying the fun and challenge of learning to use the camera and trying to develop my skills. I now have three Nikon lenses a 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6; 16-85 mm f/3.5-5.6 and most recently a 300 mm f/4.

It's brilliant to see the wonderful variety of beautiful and inspirational photos on Flickr, and I so much value the feedback and encouragement given by friends, contacts and people who just drop by, thank you all :)
