Photography is an essential part of my life. There have been ups and downs in my productivity; there are themes that have followed me the last 20 years and others that have developed, emerged, vanished.... just like most things in life. And even if I I have retired some years ago, I still do not have enough time (or energy) to deepen all themes I would like. During last year I have concentrated my work on a project on ferns. These are wonderful plants, that most people just ignore or overlook. To me they are just fascinating. Just have a look at ifarne.ch

I use Flickr because I like good photographic work and have discovered a lot og great Flickr-contacts posting really beautiful work. Furthermore, I like the idea to share my work with others. I was on Flickr on a regular basis for some years. Now due to different projects, I just come and go.
