For decades, as a CEO, I oversaw the creation of the physical world—building industrial facilities and infrastructure. Today, I use a Leica M camera and vintage lenses to capture the flip side of this process: how people interact with the monumental environment they themselves have created. I now view these urban landscapes through vintage optics, which soften the industrial harshness and brutality of our world.

In business, I created form. In photography, I seek its content. Construction taught me to see structure and scale, while the Leica allows me to add the most important element — the human being and their emotions.

None of my photos are staged—this is life as it is. I’m just a man with a camera and very vintage lenses (1950s).

I have many international photo awards, but the most important thing for me is that photography is a part of my soul and way of my life.
