Hello out there to all my flickr friends. I married Mick some 26 years ago and have three gorgeous sons. Daniel my eldest has just flown the nest and I’m having to adjust to not having him around. Scott is my second eldest and our baby James is now seventeen and six foot four. They take great joy in my creations (especially the tasting) and are also my most valid critics

I’m a self employed hairdresser and have built up a clientele who are both loyal and lovely; it’s more like visiting friends than work!

Although I have always enjoyed baking, I started cake decorating about three years ago after buying Mitch Turners book to make a Xmas cake and was hooked from that moment. I have taken a course at a local college and have attended several workshops but I now find Flickr is a major source of inspiration. There truly is some amazing talent out there and I feel I have a long way to go!!
