I respect Dan’s photography, in essence, because it is quite unique and remarkable to view. There is an artistic creativity he inserts into his images that becomes very apparent upon sight. In addition, there is also a profound thoughtfulness in his photography that I, and many others on Flickr, clearly admire, respect, and enjoy. Though I have not met Dan, I can tell from my previous correspondence with him that he loves the creativity of photography, and appreciates the art and effort that goes into it. He is very supportive and humble even with the brilliance and depth that emanates from several of his images. I marvel at Dan’s photography because I genuinely see life *differently* through them, and in a very positive way that’s influential on my own work. I encourage those of you who read this to look through Dan’s photography and get a sense of what I’m trying to describe. It’s a good feeling to be able to get a different perspective and point of view when you really take the time to see the world though another person’s lens. If I look at 100 images a day, a 1000, I can always tell a Book'em from the bunch!!
