I have only recently had the good fortune to find Karon's photographs, but that's one of the nice things about Flickr, suddenly coming across a whole new album of great pictures. I enjoy looking at photographs as much as taking them and when you can't get to some of the beauty spots others have visited, it's wonderful to have an opportunity to see through their eyes, especially if they have the sort of talent and artistry Karon displays in her work. Her range of subjects is enormous and it seems that she excels in all of them! I particularly like her landscape shots, in which she shows a natural eye for composition, but I also have a soft spot for her cats - I plan to come back as a chocolate point Siamese in my next incarnation. :-) I hope she will continue to enthral her friends with her pictures and I look forward to seeing every one of them!

Before I say anything about Karon, you have to understand that I can't stand cold and snow; I live in the southwestern desert of the United States, and cold and snow are not part of my vocabulary! You have to understand that when I say that Karon's Austrian photos are so good, that even I look at them. They are so good that I get goosebumps and start shivering, even in July! Karon has an amazing talent for finding incredible, overwhelmingly beautiful vistas, and capturing them to share with all of us. Yes, some of them are so snowy that I get frostbite from looking at them, but some of them take my breath away with their beauty. Literally. What a talent she has! I just wish she'd vacation in Hawaii or Tuscany next time, anywhere but Austria!

I have known Karon for just over a year now. We both can't quite remember how we connected but it was probably over our love of cats. Over time our swapped messages turned into a wonderful friendship. Karon has helped me thru some really tough times this year. She is always ready with a cheeky comment to lift your day. Karon's photography - well what can I say? Karon has grown in the last year to the most amazing photographer. I love her scenic photos especially, although of late she is showing she's a dab hand at macros too. Karon has a remarkable sense of composition - bringing out the best view in her photos. I so want to visit England and meet Karon. I reckon we could get into some trouble together. I'd also love to go out taking photos and see those beautiful places she has photographed. Always love visiting your photostream Karon. Here's to your continued growth as a photographer and friend.
