At the end of my career as amateur photographer, I would like to share a sample of my work (about a 5% of my pictures). There are the things I've liked, in the part of the World I have seen and where/when the available means and the external circumstances have allowed me to get images of a reasonable quality. Thera are, therefore, travel pictures, no studio pictures or "artistic (artificial) compositions": just little bits of reality. There are barely any photographs with persons in them: like certain primitive peoples, I think that to depict a person (mainly their eyes) is like to steal their soul; I photograph things and I am not interested in turning persons into things. On the other hand, the human beings have been, for centuries, watching themselves excessively... and this is how the planet goes. It's time to pay a preferential attention to our environment: both the marvelous and amazing, and the small everyday things. The exhibition is thematically organized (44 collections including 332 albums). Here I show my own favorites (not always our most loved creations and creatures are the most successful). I hope that some of them are of utility and/or pleasure for somebody, somewhere, sometime... You are welcome.
