My name is Karl Budesa, a 58 year-old heavy equipment operator living in Columbia Falls, Montana and son of Deceased Lt.Col Paul G. Budesa, for whom this page documents, with photo's he took, his Army Air Corps and Air Force career with the 18th Fighter Squadron in WW2 in the Aleutians and the Fight'n Fortieth Fighter Squadron in Korea. He flew with other squadrons, but these two were the only ones that saw combat. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do sharing them with the world. A few pictures have even made it on to web sites such as Jet Pilot Overseas and P-40 Warhawk; and most recently Mustang International magazine.
