As an update, Flickr seems to have agreed that they will not apply different standards to our photos and accounts simply because we are transgendered or are crossdressers and we present ourselves differently from our assigned gender.

Note: My Flickr settings will not allow you to comment on my photos if I do not make you a contact.
Unfortunately, this prevents the girls who don't make the effort to add me as a contact to let me know you exist to comment unless I choose to return the contact,.
I do this to avoid and prevent the unwanted catcalls and comments from strangers, especially non-dressing men. Any self respecting ciswoman or girl does not wish to get unwanted or unsavory comments whether here on Flickr or on the street in public.
In this age of the #MeToo movement, I consider such comments as harassment. Those who allow or solicit such comments from strangers and "admirers" merely endorse and prolong a male dominant society where rape is considered consensual activity between adults and females of any gender to be third class citizens.
Admirers, don't waste your time sending me F-mail. I couldn't care in the least that I make you hot and horny. At best, I will ignore you, at worst, I will block you.
If you are a girl and add me to your contact/follow list but you do not share suitable and appropriate photos of yourself, it is unlikely that I will add you to my contacts in return. I am not interested in headless or faceless or maskers who hide their faces in their photos.
Also, please show some self-respect in choosing your "real name" or screen name. Using terms like "slut" or "sissy" or names of that sort will not encourage me to add you as a contact.
Over 98% of my photos are public.
If most or all of your photos are Private/Friends/Family, that's your choice to share them or not. Don't expect me to return your contact if you don't share any of your personal photos. Don't make me a F&F if you have no such photos flagged as such. If all of your pics are already public, then making me a F&F is your way of saying "I've got nothing to hide". That will not encourage me to add you as F&F.
Non-Dressing Men, collectors, admirers and chasers WILL BE BLOCKED., especially if your photos or faves show nothing but genitals or anal area or sexual activity, whether public or private. Additionally, if such photos are not properly safety flagged, you will earn an Abuse Report to Flickr. An improper buddy icon will also earn an Abuse Report.
I absolutely detest those FAKERS, whether men or wanna-be TGs, who steal photos from the web or use photos of female friends or spouses in order to their populate their stream in order to gain entry to girls only groups.
Alicia does not wish to be admired by non-dressing men or have her images collected or fav'ed by them or by those who have nothing of themselves to share..
If you share NOTHING or only have stolen photos in your stream. I will NOT add you.
Alicia's male persona is strictly hetero, which means he only desires GGs.
Dressing does not cause Allie to become Bi, or Gay, or suddenly desire Males.
Since Alicia herself only wants GG's, that must make her a lipstick lesbian or trans-lesbian or whatever the term is.
TGs are welcome as platonic friends.
Alicia is interested in CD/TS/TGs only as platonic friends and contacts to share stories, tips, thoughts.. Understanding GGs are welcome.
Neither of us, Allie or her male persona, are interested in non-dressing men in any way.
How other girls deal with changes in their gender orientation while dressed is a matter for them to deal with.
At the risk of being even more repetitive, if you need even more details:
Alicia has no interest in contacts with anyone with:
- only crotch shots, whether covered or nude, showing your puny doo-hickey, erect or not, no matter how proud you are of it, because it will not impress her. Instead, such disgusting photos will get you Blocked even faster;
- only Photo Shopped or hole-in-the-wall photos where you have placed your head on someone else's body
- only Second Life or other avatars or similar images
- or have nothing but headless shots
- or faceless photos with your face turned away, or obscured, or hidden by shadows, your hair or sunglasses.
- or shots only of their hands or feet or legs; dresses from catalogs; your shoe collection.
- or BDSM or FemDom or masking or water sports or any other endless games that I have never heard of.
- or either simulated or actual sexual activity between people or with sex toys
- or only have masked or latex/silicon head photos. You either dare not show your real face or don't wish to learn the art of makeup.
If I were to talk to you, I talk to real people with real faces showing in their photostream..
I will not talk to the back of your head, your feet, or your shoes or your crotch or a mask.,
Making me a Friend or Family just to show me your crotch or other unsuitable photos will get you blocked.
But, if your public stream is nice, I may ask you to remove the F&F designation to avoid looking at photos that I don't want to see.
If I feel like I need to take a shower after viewing your photostream, your profile or even your Faves, I may Block you.
If that makes me a persistent or chronic blocker, well, too bad. I have the right to choose those who I wish to associate with.
I have given you my criteria and parameters. If you read through this profile and you still persist and continue through to add me as a contact, you are taking that risk of getting blocked.
I have the right to associate and interact with whomever I choose.
ABSOLUTELY NO Non-Dressing men.
I do not want their catcalls.
They may say that want only to admire us and treat us as ladies, but they really don't understand us and only want one thing thing from us.
That's their nature.
Men don't dress, so you don't understand why we girls do what we do. For me, It's certainly not to meet men. I am not a trap.
I know what you want. I will not give that to you.
I don't even want you to fantasize about me.
There are plenty of other girls who would love to have you dream of them and to concoct erotic fantasies in your comments or notes. Go bother them.
I am not one of them. Go away.
So, men, I know you're out there looking at my public photos. I'd rather not be reminded that under Flickr rules, I can't prevent you from looking unless I make all of my photos for Friends, Family or Private.
You may Look at my public photos but don't touch.
Stay unknown to me. I don't want to know that you even exist.
You can't t 'comment' me since you are not on my contact list. I'm not looking for anything from you - not compliments; suggestions or demands; or lewd words. Unfortunately, some of my photos have been shared in groups where non-dressing men and non-sharers have been allowed to become group members. That still does not give you permission to comment on my photos.
Non-dressing men and admirers: Don't add me as a contact. What you will get for your efforts is a BLOCK.
At best, I will ignore you.
I wish Flickr had something like a protective order that would prevent those who are Blocked from even seeing my public stream.
Unfortunately, Flickr doesn't work that way.
Don't fave my photos.
Non-dressing Men stay away.
======
With my dislikes out of the way, here are a few administrative matters:
Almost all of my photos are for public viewing.
Most of my photos are currently marked Safe. I have a few that are marked Moderate.
-- update -- Flickr changed its policy toward transgender and crossdressing girls. They are no longer automatically deemed to be unsafe or restricted. Their photos will be judged using the same principles that apply to all other photos IAW Flickr's Terms of Service [TOS].
I may change all my photos' safety level to Moderate in the future because Flickr refuses to define what their nebulous "Community Standards" are.
Instead, they have left it up to any viewer in the worldwide community to decide if the content offends them. If they make a report to the Flickr Police, the FP may decide to force me raise the safety level to Moderate or even Restricted.
I currently have no Restricted photos, nor do I have or intend to have any nude shots.
You may have to adjust your SafeSearch level to view my Moderate photos.
As an update, Flickr seems to have agreed that they will not apply different standards to our photos simply because we are transgendered and we present ourselves differently from our assigned gender.

My groups:
I created, admin and moderate the following groups:
Men, admirers, nor those with nothing to share need apply.
Debutante Butterflies is my original main group -
for girls in social gatherings with 2 or more other sisters or friends
for girls dressed in costumes or uniforms for Halloween, cosplay, or other costume events.
and the closed pool Playful Butterflies, with girls discretely in lingerie or various stages of undress, but no nudity.
My newest groups, with themes that are hopefully explained by the group name are:
- Emerging Butterflies becoming beautiful
- Butterflies Playing Sports & Games
- Butterflies in Bonnets, Hats & Hair Adornments
- Elegant Butterflies & their loving pets
- Elegant Butterflies in Boots
- Butterflies by Land, Sea, or Air
- Elegant Butterflies in Ruffles, Flourishes & Ruching
- Elegant Butterflies in Luxurious Black
- Elegant Butterflies in Ravishing Red
I may invite GGs to share their appropriate photos in these groups.
I have been invited to co-admin the following four groups:
which has a more open admission policy than Debutante has.
and,
for my Asian diaspora sisters. Non-Asian sisters will be considered for membership, see group rules for details.
Again, men, nor admirers, nor those with nothing to share need apply.
===================
Finally, back to my story.
I am trying to grow in my understanding of the wide rainbow of the CD/TS/TG, including the gay, community. I was in the closet in more ways than one. If I make mistakes along the way - then sorry, I will try to learn from my mistakes.
After many many years of simply gazing in a mirror, I have finally decided to take some pictures of myself after seeing all the beautiful ladies here on Flickr.
My closet door is finally ajar. I in male mode, not as Alicia, had been out in public en femme only once many years ago for Halloween...of course. The previous Halloween, I had worn macho construction worker garb only because I had a spelunking hat that I used as a construction hard hat. I may even have a picture of me en femme if I can find it. I'm sure I still have that dress too. I haven't ever purged, so I do need to clear out the dresses that no longer fit...but they're all so pretty that I just can't part with them. Maybe I can find the time to make alterations, after all, I did learn to run a sewing machine by watching my mother. If not, then I will purge JUST a very little to make room for newer clothes. I'll have to call it freshening my collection.
I hope to learn how to improve my illusion by following your wonderful examples. I'm sure that I will need to get better makeup and wigs and other ...um... accessories.
I will try be selective about what I post in my photostream by sharing only what I think are my best pics without too many repetitions, but that may be difficult. I think that I am learning that Alicia is vain. She wants to see herself in pictures sharing her sense of style with you and her growth [hopefully] in her ability to apply makeup. I do hope that there will be future improvement.
I am ONLY interested in, sharing with and hearing from other CDs, TS, TGs and GGs.
I accept the duality of my nature, that I am person who wants to express the feminine side occasionally. That may mean periods of long hibernation interspersed with periods of activity.
I am only in conflict with our culture that defines and restricts how I am allowed to express different facets of my personality.
I don't feel that I was born in the wrong body. Besides, I would be SOL if I felt that way and needed medical intervention since I don't like surgery of any kind. It took me 2 years of debate to have my first minor, though essential, medical procedure done. And I know that more necessary surgery is in store, some minor, and one major. That bothers me and I'm trying hard to accept the fact. So, I can't imagine ever having cosmetic FFS or even SRS done on myself. So, that leaves artful application of makeup and padding and corsetry to achieve my illusion.
Update - as documented in the photo stream, Alicia attended her first ever event, SCC, in September 2012 held in Atlanta. She may consider attending Keystone in the future.
Update October 2019 - Allie attended as a guest a local soiree held by the Vanity Club.
Alicia still has not attended any events at local venues. The door will have to open a lot more before I venture that. Blame that on my shyness too. My first foray on Halloween was with friends, but it was for the occasion, and I was not truly expressing my nature. Besides, I need time to improve my appearance a lot more before I emerge fully as Alicia...and maybe some encouragement. My other life is busy with music, art, books, computers, health and politics so I don't know how much time I can devote to becoming Alicia. But, she IS becoming more insistent after years of quiet.
I'm not into BDSM, masking or other games.
I had been on Flickr for several months, exploring as a lurker. During that time, I refrained from joining groups, fav'ing photos, making contacts or commenting because I had nothing to share. So please, have the courtesy to do the same if you nothing to share.
This means no blockheads [or is the new term Camera heads?] , or those with nothing to share.
If I don't like what I see in your photostream, profile or fave list, or don't see, or don't like the nature of your comments, I may block you. I'm picky that way.
I don't want to change the privacy settings from Public to F&F like some sisters have done, since there are other potential sisters out there.
And the usual boilerplate - My photos are Copyrighted. You may not distribute or use my pictures in any way or any purpose, nor add them to a group pool without my permission...blah blah blah.
Those of you Flickr users who only steal photos to post in your own stream as an admirer or use those stolen photos to impersonate a real CD/TS/TG deserve to lose your Flickr account.
Thanks, and hugs,
Allie
