Ok how do you describe yourself?

Well first of all I've always enjoyed taking pictures of stuff. Wether its weird looking sheep in a field or out the window of the plane photo's on family holidays as a kid.

Mainly I've danced around the outside with disposables, compacts or camera phone's! I have now though took the plunge into the world of DSLR with my purchase of a Canon 1100d with a couple of lenses and I have to say I'm liking it a lot!

My screen name Camera Belly is more about the feeling of slight self consciousness I got when I first strapped myself onto a Canon rather than my physique or my appetite for eating cameras. Although this feeling has now passed, the Mrs still calls me Camera Belly whenever I venture out of the house lens first.

PS my real name is Ron.

Since writing this I have upgraded to a Canon 70d, which I'm pretty pleased with, and have also invested in a few decent lenses and a flash gun.
