Rick Dawson has been operating a photography

business since 1978. Starting by hand processing Black & White film for nature and newspaper and using color film to produce photographic for clients and than made the jump to be fully digital in 2002.

In January 2007 he receive the Certified Professional

Photographer from the Professional Photographers of

American. Only 3% of professional photographers has

achieve this certification after having 20 images judged

by a panel of Master Certified Photographers and

passing a time general photography knowledge test.

For the last eight years, he has taught workshops on

Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop at

Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville VA,

Nature photography workshops at Reynolds

Homestead and has been a Professional

Photographers of America Super Monday instructor

since 2002.
