Longtime film photographer, my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic 104 that my parents bought me (they bought my sister one too). I still have the Instamatic but haven't run any film through it in a long, long time. Over the years I've owned many cameras from a Konica rangefinder to my first and favorite manual-focus 35mm film SLR, a Nikkormat FT3, my favorite autofocus film SLR is a Nikon F5; medium format cameras: Mamiya 7, Minolta Autocord, Rolleiflex TLR, Pentax 645, Fujifilm 645; medium format folders: Agfa Isolette III, Zeiss Ikon, Voigtlander Bessa II 6x9, Olympus Chrome 6; large format cameras: Crown Graphic 4x5, Kodak 2D 5x7 and my newest toys, an Intrepid 4x5 Mark III and a Stenopeika 5x7 view camera..

I also have way too many digital cameras but my favorite pro digital SLR is my Nikon D3. I am the proud owner of a Nikon Z6 and love it for the excellent images and small size. I also quite like my Ricoh GRII for its superb image quality and portability.

As much as I enjoy shooting landscapes, my preference is people and I do my best to capture them as a photojournalist would.
