Marcie is one of the greatest friends I have made here on flickr, and a person I have no doubt I will stay in touch with long after I leave this place. She has become a true, dear friend of mine, someone I confide in, trust, love, adore, laugh and cry with. She is like my soul-sister, having initially connecting with her via our mutual obsessive love for music and all things Dave Matthews. Marcie and I have this mutual understanding that some DMB lyrics were written solely for us and for poignant events in our lives. Dave should really be with one or both of us; we understand him like no other ;) Aside from Marcie's friendship, it is a sweet bonus to be privy to the magnificent art she creates through her lens. I envy her eye for capturing such breathtaking landscapes, and her ability to invariably be at the right place at the right time when the beauty of nature decides to grace her at its finest moments. I absolutely love her photography, as well as her deepest, most honest posts in which she reveals herself to us, her vulnerabilities and fears and achievements and trials and triumphs.
