Janita K. Lo is a member of The Episcopal Church and Visual Arts (ECVA) and the Watercolor Art Society of Houston (WASH). She studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1965 from the University of Houston. She was born in China and has lived in Hong Kong, Australia, and the United States. Her watercolor work consists mostly of portraits, but also includes work inspired from her travels around the world and by her strong faith in God. Ms. Lo has won several awards from exhibitions through WASH. Her watercolor eye series collection is now a permanent exhibit at The University of Houston College of Optometry, University Eye Institute.
