Corrado Colombo, born in Lecco on 1956, June 20th, starts playing S8 movies as he is a very young boy. He performes his movies in several shows and international film festival concerning sub-standard films

As he moves to Rome he becomes the assistant of the director Eriprando Visconti for the movie MALAMORE (1982). In the same time he establishes a film production and distribution house : MASTER MEDIA. He distributes quality films for the essai area (PASSION e SAUVE QUI PEUT LA VIE by Jean-Luc Godard, IL SAPORE DELL'ACQUA by Orlow Seunke, HEATWAVE-ONDATA CALDA by Phillip Noyce). For his production house he mostly works as an art director for documentary motions and for advertising shorts. . In 1991 he makes MAITRESSE, his first long movie shooted in video electronic way.

In 1998 he makes his short movie in 35 mm NULLA DA DICHIARARE , next chosen for CORTO CIRCUITO Napoli 98 and next distributed in through cinematographic channels collected in the film CORTI IN LUNGO.

He works not only as an art director but he also works as a journalist for cinema-magazines: DUEL, NOCTURNO and GAZ MAGAZINE, and for Italian Suisse Radio where he attends a weekly broadcast about home video. Then he manages two video-shops in Lecco since 1986 to 2000. In 1999-2000 he works for Giubileo and for Regione Lazio making 6 stories, each one during about twenty minutes, concerning six saint women and their own lives: one of them, MARIA GORETTI, gains the prize by the jury of Festival di Salerno 2000. In 2000 he directes the film LA DONNA DEL DELITTO. Nel 2001, he directs for RAIDUE the TV-movie CON GLI OCCHI DELL'ASSASSINO. Nel 2002 he directs ENCANTADO, wholly shooted in Cuba.
