I'm a retired educator who has always been interested in photography since I am very visual in my approach to the world. I've been studying photography seriously in various forms--clubs, classes and more--for the last five or so years. The topics I tend to gravitate toward when taking images are macros, beach scenes and architecture. I have a Nikon Z50 with several lenses, but I tend to capture images more quickly on my IPhone 13 Pro.
