Hi, my name is Esther Gleason. I am currently a photography student.

Some of my favorite design elements are Photoshop techniques, black and white, Layer masks, and portraits.

I love to photograph people, and abstract things. I love taking pictures that are kind of creepy or weird.

My favorite photos are often black and white, creepy , whimsical, and mysterious.

At the moment I am using a Nikon Coolpix P7800. I love this camera. It suits my needs for the moment, but of course someday I want to upgrade.

I love photography because I can express myself in interesting ways. I love how you can manipulate the photograph and make it into something very interesting.

I plan to continue to push myself to learn new skills and to become an overall better artist.

Recently I've started modeling. I think that it is really fun. Modeling helps me better understand how to take good portraits. It also helps that I do photography because I have experience of what looks good.

Esther is the master of seeing the the rosy world through gray colored glasses. She takes the sublime and gives it a new twist. This makes the viewer really think about the true nature of what they are seeing. Thanks for showing us this new perspective.

She spins dark tales of the dead and dying, moving images of simple things that seem to shout with purpose, and plain photos that are just strong all … Read more

Esther creates ethereal work, with strong, well-executed concepts. She has great vision and masterfully depicts the images she sees in a way that we can all plainly see. She spins dark tales of the dead and dying, moving images of simple things that seem to shout with purpose, and plain photos that are just strong all the way around. I look forward to seeing what she creates in the future.
