Back in 1994 I went from being a twenty-something cultured California chick, graphic designer, and bakery cafe owner to a manure mucking Missouri farmgirl—and I've almost never looked back.

I live on a 240-acre remote farm with a menagerie of cute sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, seven very entertaining donkeys, and one extremely well fed farmguy.

My life revolves around food, and when I'm not spoiling taking care of the critters, I spend a lot of time in my organic heirloom kitchen garden or baking artisan breads. Since 2005 I've been sharing my Less Fuss, More Flavor approach to cooking and recipes, along with stories and photos from my crazy country life on my blog, Farmgirl Fare. See you down at the barn!
