I’m a city dweller with a love of rural and remote places. Until recently an analogue photographer, I have 4 decades of negatives and slides reasonably well classified. So, a current project is to look through these and extract / scan a selection of images that may now be of historic interest. It is surprising how quickly things become historic.
The creativity of many flickr photographers is impressive. I am extra-impressed by the ones who set up interesting sets (albums) with coherent themes. These photographers have the skills of a picture editor!
I very much appreciate it when viewers make comments on my photos. I have a poor opinion of people who have no photos in their stream and who "fave" my pictures without leaving comments. I suspect they are picture collectors and I give serious thought to blocking them.

His images include religious iconography, photographs of war memorials, Honor boards of fallen soldiers, and sculptures commemorating victims of the Holocaust.These photos show us John's respect for humanity, and remind us all that we too need to be tolerant of one another. John also includes photographs of family and friends, and his holidays around the globe. His photos show himself at work and at leisure, at home, and out and about. He is comfortable being naked, yet there is not a single prurient image among his photographs. John's slim body is testament to his years of running, and he has competed in the world's notable Marathons recording times below three hours. These are efforts any human should be proud of. I think John is aware of his sexuality, but he does not flaunt it. His photo message board reveals both men and women are complimentary of John's body and especially his penis. It is a wonderful penis too, uncut, intact, and attractive to my eyes. John includes photos of plants, insects and cats among his Photostream. He is comfortable in nature, and is obviously its friend. John is an Irishman who has many complimentary followers. I am happy to count myself among them.
