Have an interest in most things historic, but especially interest in WW2 and transport and industry. Live in West Sussex and close to the Bluebell Railway. Have always like to do a lot of walking and cant be a better way of exploring the countryside. This led to playing a part in data gathering for the Defense of Britian project when I was a Surrey Countryside Ranger. I used to spend a lot of time in the Surrey Hills so reported a lot of positions and conditions on Surrey WW2 structures. Now in Sussex, with two sons who are big enough to explore and also get excited at Pillbox I have started to track down pillboxes in the local area and beyond.
