A lifetime in transport (now 50 years), from riding in lorries with my father and grandfather, having days off school and most of the holidays with them. I starting work at a commercial vehicle body builder and garage, then on to an apprenticeship with a coach opperator, to a lorry driver, and then starting my own Commercial repair business, and now full time lorry restorer.

I owned my first lorry (1944 Austin K4) at the age of 16, well before I had a driving licence.

I personally prefer British lorries, from the 1950's to the late 1980's.

I will try to give as much information for each picture as I can, after all we are not here forever! And I know only to well what it's like trying to put together details from other people's picture's after they have gone!
