After a serious stroke in 2005 I was left with dysphagia (a speech problem), a touch of disarthria, mobility problems, co-ordination issues, memory, concentration and some psychological difficulties. Put all that together with Ankylosing Spondylitis and Lymphodema and you have an image of who I am. Add a degree of weight gain and hey presto, voila, it's me!! A little squishy round the edges but loveable none the less.
