Photography is an addiction.....a healthy one! ©

Many thanks to you all for your generous comments and favourites. It is very much appreciated.

When i take a photograph,it may or may not have a title,i want it to stimulate people's thoughts and emotions.

Taking photographs gets me through the good times and the not so good.

A camera lens is an extension of the mind, together in synergy.Sometimes it works, sometimes not.But no matter, perseverance is rewarded.Anyway, perfection is a figment of the imagination and it is best left there.

I don't think we can believe in some things in life until we have experienced them, and the emotion that comes with them.Maybe,in some small part, what our lens captures goes some way towards that.

Enthusiastic photographer.Enjoying the beauty of nature;it's the simplicity and complexity bound together providing endless wonder. To capture something beautiful to the eye, through the lens of a camera, once and never again, but keep it forever.

Enjoy taking photographs of aircraft, mainly commercial jets.

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” ― Ansel Adams

I love the seasons. There is so much taking place throughout the year.

Spring brings forth renewal and freshness. Leaves on trees, shrubs and plants everywhere;soon, almost imperceptibly, turn from bright green to their season-long darker hues in maturity.

England,Great Britain,Europe,Earth.

Lover of all things natural on this great planet and a believer in the goodness of humanity.

Photography,i find,is much like life.Good days and bad but we keep persevering. There is nothing quite like the exhilaration of seeing something, anything and having a desire to capture it.A moment in time, however transient. It will last forever as a memory and mark time but never lose significance. It is very intoxicating and can become a medium in which one becomes totally absorbed,in much the same way as music, literature, the arts or any creative field.

When feeling stressed or anxious and wanting to relax,i pick up the camera and go for a walk, not knowing what I will come across to photograph. This is where the excitement begins.Something may catch my eye that I would otherwise miss. The moment is the essence of photography.I find myself becoming completely lost while focussing on a subject, becoming completely absorbed in it and forgetting about everything else around.
