Well my photography hobby has very slowly taken shape over many years. My first real camera was a Pentax ME Super back in the late 70's but I never really got very far as the cost of film kept me away. I got into a little bit of video starting in the early 90's and still like to do that. But I purchased a Canon D30 a while back and have been learning and enjoying a lot on photography since. The West Kootenay area in British Columbia, Canada where I live is an endless source of images of people places and things. I like the challenge photography presents with every image and the ease by which I can now "develop" my images via computers. Luckily my job has kept me updated in computer usage since the early 1980's so I am able to not have to struggle with image manipulation to much. But I like the challenge to try to get a really good image without the edit. I find Flickr a very good medium to learn more on photography and share images. And as I pick the good ones out of the many many discards, LOL, I will post them. To the glory of God and all our enjoyment. Oh and don't forget to visit my wife's wonderful image array at 'Born 2 Be Mild'.
