My friend Ridureyu is one of the nicest people you could hope to meet, as evidenced by the fact that he’s tolerated me calling him by the nickname “Buttermilk” for about two years and counting. He also happens to share my loves of toys and toy photography, especially monster toys &/or mini-figures under 3 inches. Whereas my goal on Flickr is to upload every toy photo I’ve ever taken, upon creating his Flickr account Ridureyu immediately began unleashing a flood of toy photographs which are exclusively of very high quality. Furthermore, he brought two other attributes with him: 1) extremely eloquent and thorough descriptions accompanying and describing his photos, and also 2) a talent for lighting toy figures (especially, but in no way limited to, artificial flames). Because of his skill at lighting toys, his photographs of translucent or transparent toys are particularly noteworthy. If you want high-quality photographs of monster toys with eloquent descriptions, then I literally know of no better place for you than Ridureyu’s photostream.
