I'm a left-handed Capricorn, which probably explains most of my personality. Well-schooled and -traveled, ambitious, sensitive, kind, patient. I used to be pretty laid back until I had to work for a living! I've worked mostly in NYC, but also a couple of years each in London and Hong Kong in the 90s - great experiences. All those pics are on fiim, so they're not going to make it onto Flickr, unfortunately.

I traveled quite a bit to Europe over the past couple of years, as well as several domestic trips. I love the cultures - such a rich experience. Lots more to upload when I get a chance to cull through the pics (over 3,500 need to be sorted).

This is such a fun site - I'm enjoying making and receiving comments on photos, as well as getting to know other photographers. It's definitely made me a better photographer. Almost all of these photos were taken with my Nikon D70, which I bought in 2004. It's a little heavy, especially since I tote around my camera backpack with the zoom lens at the same time, but the photo quality beats pocket cameras hands down. I bought my first SLR in the late 80s, which conveniently got stolen on vacation around 2001, giving me the chance to go digital (waited a few years 'til the technology improved). I got my early training on a Kodak Instamatic 126 camera, complete with rotating "Magicube" flash, and later a 110 with "Flipflash" (quite entertaining thinking about that old technology!).
