Fabrizio Gianneschi is a 36-years old IT Specialist that works as a technical IT officier for the Administration of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy).

Expert programmer, he has over 18 years of experience in software analysis, project and development. During his career he experienced many ITC fields such as standalone and web applications, content management systems, e-business and e-government.

He's a council member and the main founder of the sardinian Java User Group (www.jugsardegna.org - jugsardegna.dev.java.net), that he led as chairman until April, 2009.

In 2005, he has been awarded the title of Java Champion from SUN Microsystems, for his role in the JUG Sardegna and expecially in the Jug4Avis project.

Fabrizio is also an active technical writer, teacher and author of various articles, publications and reviews. He's a member of various communities and an enthusiast evangelist of the open-source philosophy and its tools.

He lives in Sardinia (Italy) with his wife Katia and their children Marco and Giulia.
