I've loved taking pictures since I was about 5 years old. But just like my drum playing, I'm kind of a hack photographer. I know just enough tricks to appear like I might know something.

Most of my real photography has been limited to Nature, Architecture, Machinery and general scenery. I've taken thousands of candids (I worked with teenagers for most of my life), but I have no real experience with faces, portraiture, or editing candids into something excellent. THAT is where I want to grow now! But I need some instruction and inspiration.
