Anna Thorvaldsdottir is an Icelandic composer. She frequently works with large structures of sounds and her music tends to portray a flowing world of sounds with an enigmatic lyrical atmosphere.

Anna holds a PhD from UCSD and her debut portrait album - Rhízōma - was released by Innova Recordings in October 2011.
