I am a serious amateur who has been using 35 mm film or digital for 37 years.. I have used Nikon's all of my photo life and I have owned a lot of them all of them. Nikkormat, ELW, F4, F5, F100, D100, D2X. Currently I shoot with a D700 and am extremely happy with it.

I have never understood flash well and now I have discovered the Strobist so I am anxious to learn and participate. Retired from real work a year ago, moved to San Diego, married a wonderful woman and now have the time I want for golf and photography.

Thanks and enjoy the site.
