I love to travel - Asia mainly - whenever work allows and to develop my burgeoning hobby of DSLR photography. Other interests include Ancient History, Literature, Art, Music and Sports.

When I'm in the UK, I keep fit with middle distance running along the banks of the Thames, always attending some art gallery/museum exhibition, as well as finding and purchasing (expensive) UK and US 60's records - mainly beat, psychedelic and progressive. I also love Indian music and dance in all its myriad forms - especially Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kathak and Kalbelia. India has been drawing me back time and again, particularly the Thar Desert region of Rajasthan and Kutch, Gujarat, for the wealth of caste textile culture there and the opportunity it offers for budding lensmen, (such as myself).
