I have always been involved with buses, Even in my cot, I used to take my Dinky Buses in with me my late mom used to say. We lived in Armley near the Ledgard Garage, Where my Dad worked as a Conductor. My mom used to take me past the garage on my way to the Clock School. We moved to Bramley in 1960 my Dad then worked at the Old Bramley Garage. When I left School I worked for Leeds City Transport at Kirkstall Works as an Apprentice Fitter and then as a fitter working on the COFs until 1980 when I became a Shift Foreman at Seacroft until it closed in 1983 I moved to Bramley until 1992 when I Left.
