I guess the main reason why I like photography is because it enables you to preserve memories (which is obvious, but I'll explain further).

I'm sure there are people who have gone through worse than I have - in fact, I'm sure of it. But I personally feel that over the past decade, I have gone through a lot. Things have changed for me, and I miss the happy memories. I can't remember them because I never took pictures of them.

So I've decided to commit myself to taking photos so I can preserve those happy memories for the future. I don't have a DSLR, so I'm currently editing old photos from those better times, but hopefully if I get the money for one, I can start taking photos of the happy times that are happening now.
