My name is Scott Curtis and i live in Melbourne Australia. I have always had a love for trucks and transport. As a young boy i started taking photos of trucks and have amassed a huge collection of non digital and digital photos.
Over the years i have moved on from just static shots to moving shots as well as night shots. I try and get out as often as i can with my camera, learning more every time i go out. My current camera is an Olympus E5 with a 12 - 60 & 50 - 200mm zoom lens. I have recently upgraded to a new Canon 5D Mk iii with 24 - 105mm zoom & 70 - 200mm zoom.
I also love animals and enjoy photographing them.

The first time I ever went online, I went searching for Australia truck photos and came across Truckaus. There weren't too many others posting quality truck photos on the net and his photos inspired me to go out to buy a decent camera and try my hand at it. I made the camera shop assistant go online and look at the Truckaus collection and told him that's the quality I was after. I found myself a year or so later wandering around truck shows with Scotty sharing camera tips. I know I can ask about a particular transport company from the past 20 years and Truckaus will have a photo of it. Keep an eye out for him on a freeway near you!
