I'm a wife of 43 years, mother to three, grandmother to 2 Granddaughters, and a crafter at heart. I grew up next door to my grandparents who were the ultimate crafters and their love was instilled into my way of life. About 11 years ago quit my job of 9 years in retail to have more time to nourish my soul by doing things I love such as sewing, embroidery, quilting, and of course spending more time with my husband and family.

Our house burned down December 15, 2012. We lived in my Mothers home for 3 years. It was a special time to share with Mom. We needed her and she needed us. She has moved to The Haven and loves it.

After a lot of stress, headaches and difficulty dealing with the rebuild we moved into our home since February 22nd 2016. Finally!

We have really enjoyed living in our new house and sharing it with our family and friends. We are now working on completing the upstairs area. They had roughed it in with our plans for a large sewing area, an office for David and an area to relax and watch TV. I am really looking forward to moving my sewing room and my long arm quilter up there. Then we will have a real guestroom. It is going to be awesome!

God has helped us in so many ways and we are very grateful.
